Refund Policy for The Digital Basket

At The Digital Basket, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, replacements, or returns are processed, in compliance with Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and E-Commerce Rules, 2020.
1. Eligibility for Refunds/Returns
You may request a refund or return under the following conditions:
✔ Defective/Damaged Products: Received with physical damage, manufacturing flaws, or incorrect items.
✔ Wrong Product Shipped: Item received differs from what was ordered.
✔ Cancelled Orders: Orders cancelled before shipment (partial/full refund as applicable).
Non-Refundable Items:
❌ Customized/Personalized Products.
❌ Perishable Items (e.g., sweets, chocolates) unless spoiled/defective.
❌ Products damaged due to misuse or after delivery.
2. Return Process
Step 1: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery for defective/wrong items.

Attach: Photos/videos of the issue.
Step 2: If eligible, we will provide:
A Return Authorization Number.
Instructions for return shipping (if applicable).
Step 3: Return the product:
Unused/unopened in original packaging.
Include the invoice copy and reason for return.
Step 4: Once received and verified, we will process your refund/replacement.
3. Refund Methods & Timelines
✔ Refund Mode: Original payment method (UPI/Card/Bank Transfer).
✔ Processing Time: 5-7 business days after return approval.
✔ Bank Timelines: Additional 3-5 days for bank processing.
Exceptions:
Prepaid orders (Cards/UPI): Refund within 7-10 business days.
Cash on Delivery (COD): Refund via NEFT/Bank Transfer.
4. Replacement Policy
✔ Replacements are subject to product availability.
✔ If unavailable, a refund will be issued.
✔ No extra shipping charges for defective/wrong item replacements.
5. Order Cancellations
✔ Pre-Shipment: Full refund if cancelled before dispatch.
✔ Post-Shipment: Refund processed after return receipt and inspection.
6. Shipping Costs
✔ Return Shipping Fees:
Our Fault (e.g., wrong item): Free return pickup or reimbursement.
Change of Mind: Buyer bears return shipping costs.
7. International Orders
✔ Refunds exclude customs duties/import taxes.
✔ Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
8. Exceptions
No refunds/replacements for:
❌ Products damaged after delivery.
❌ Incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.
❌ Disliked product color/size (unless defective).
